The Story Land fabric collection, designed by Sarah Jane Wright for Riley Blake Designs, marks her first collection release since 2020. Story Land was born from her passion for preserving imagination, literacy, creativity, and play in childhood. Recognizing that story time for children is precious, Sarah wanted to create a collection that celebrates the magic children experience and still need in today's fast-paced, overscheduled, and digital world. Reading a fanciful story with a child or letting a child’s mind wander and imagine is never a waste of time; rather, it builds the confidence, connection, and skills that children need now more than ever. It’s not just about mermaids, unicorns, and dragons—it’s about believing that hidden treasures can be discovered, that life is an adventure filled with possibility, and that worlds can be created that don’t yet exist.
