Hooked on Crochet: Beginning Basics - April 12 & 19 2025, 2:00-4:00pm

Come join the crocheting craze!  In this 2-session class you'll learn the basics that will allow you to start and finish simple, beginner level crochet projects.  

What will we learn?

• Tools of the trade
• Crochet a starting chain
• Learn basic foundational stitches:  single, half-double and double crochet stitches
• Learn the parts of a stitch
• Read a simple pattern
• Work in rows
• Change colors at the end of a row
• Finish off your project

Skill Level:  Beginner, no previous experience

Requirements:  Crochet hook, stitch/row markers, yarn needle and yarn are included in class cost.

What to bring:  

• Small scissors
• Notebook/pen for taking notes
• Phone for taking pictures/videos for future reference
