Our Beginning Quilting Class is your first step in creating beautiful quilts, learning new skills, and joining a warm and welcoming quilting community. By the end of class, you’ll have a completed quilt top, new friends and a whole lot of confidence to boot!✨
During this class we will be making the beautiful Quilted Cow exclusive Canestrelli Quilt. This is a 57" x 57" beginner friendly quilt with a lot of character and class.

This class is designed for those with basic sewing experience. If you're new to sewing or need a refresher, we've got you covered! Join our Beginning Sewing class to learn essential skills and gain confidence with your machine before diving into Beginning Quilting. 🧵✨
The class includes four 3-hour sessions over a series of four weeks.
🌟 Week 1: Foundations of Quilting
Discover the essentials—fabrics, threads, needles, batting, and interfacing. Master the use of cutters & mats, learn precise cutting techniques, and understand how to read your quilt pattern to kickstart your quilting journey!
🌟 Week 2: Prepping & Piecing
Get your sewing machine ready, start piecing your quilt blocks, and learn the secrets to achieving crisp, perfectly pressed seams.
🌟 Week 3: Building Your Quilt Top
Put your new skills into action as you continue piecing your quilt top, bringing your vision to life one stitch at a time.
🌟 Week 4: The Grand Finale
Wrap up your quilting journey with a fully assembled quilt top ready for quilting. You will finish your piecing, make your binding and prepare your backing.🎉

Class Materials/Requirements
* Canestrelli Quilt Kit with pattern (Select when booking)
* Quilting Ruler - 6.5" x 24.5" or 8.5" x 24.5" recommended
* Rotary cutter and blades
* Quilt Clips and/or pins
* Small Scissors and/or nips
* Seam Ripper
Homework Requirements (Yes - there will be homework!!)
